Schools which only enrolled in the ACE program in September gained 1st prizes in our Roman History Essay Contest - Bravo!
Winner Jules from Portland High School in Maine -
receiving his prize from Principal Mike Johnson.   Teacher Michelle Tucci was thrilled and the school's win was featured in local newspapers.  In the ACE Image Gallery, Student Awards, there is another picture of Jules with his proud parents!

Other 1st place winners ( who received a silver Roman coin each)  were
Matthew from NJ who won 1st Intermediate prize,
and joint Junior winners were Marin from Cedar Rapids, and Liz (shown below) from Pittsburgh.  Liz was also a Runner up in the Egyptology contest.
