We have posted the last Contest of the Academic Year, and notified the ACE Teachers Group - good luck to all our participants.   Its purpose is to encourage research into the history of the Roman Empire and all the outside influences that affected it at various points.

The March/April Image Contest for 2013 covered a range of characters in Roman HIstory.. "Short Term Imperial Inheritors & Claimants, plus Usurpers!".     The 1st place winners csme from CA ( Junior section), and MD (Senior section).... our Congratulations to all.     The Contest included a fairly wide period of time as we hoped to encourage your students to research about some unusual characters in Roman History, most of whom did not have great or long success in ruling the Empire, but for a year which ends in "13", it is perhaps not inappropriate!

Elisabeth in KY swept the board with her correct answers and so won herself not just a Roman AR, but a book on Roman coins.   The Roman Facts & Legends Contest helped teachers get their students researching to refresh their knowledge of matters Roman.   The results came in during mid December, though the winners did not get their prize coins until the New Year of 2013.
